for NGOs and educational institutions
Offer an action or a workshop on Nature Day!
Do you work in an NGO, an educational institution or a sustainable organization that deals with environmental and climate protection issues? Would you like to register a sustainable action or workshop where you can really get stuck in or learn something about a sustainable way of life? Tell us more!

Only together can we tackle the enormous generational task of solving the climate and biodiversity crisis.

We have a problem. The latest research and elections show:
*Quelle: More in Common: Studie zum gesellschaftlichen Zusammenhalt, 2023.
01.
Support is shrinking
backing for the environmental and climate movement has fallen by 50% since 2021*
02.
Lack of a sense of belonging
71% of German citizens think that the climate and environmental movement has no place for them*
03.
Exclusivity
The ‘eco-bubble’ appears very homogeneous and exclusive to those outside it. Its lack of diversity makes joining difficult.
04.
Hardening of fronts
Environmental and climate change action are becoming increasing divisive and we are falling further and further behind.
05.
Environment and inclusion as the losers of the 2024 EU elections
climate denial and xenophobia are on the rise. In some places, right-wing populist parties achieved up to 40% of the vote in the 2024 EU elections.
Climate and environmental protection must finally trigger positive feelings in us. Participation and self-efficacy must become tangible for society at large.

Become a workshop provider
Nature Day thrives on the variety of its offer - everyone is needed so that there is something for everyone. Here are just a few examples:

Biodiversity
reforestation, sowing flowering meadows, building insect hotels

Resource conservation
zero waste life, waste collection and separation, giving things a new life, mending and sewing, reusing

Energy
Installing balcony power stations, saving electricity at home

Repair
Repair cafés for electrical appliances or bicycles

Climate protection
restoring moors

Education
introductions to biodiversity and climate science, training in political participation, support for setting up community initiatives and groups
Achieving Great Things Together
Nature Day is a project for society as a whole, a joint, inclusive day of action on which we invite people to engage in environmental action and participation opportunities. It’s very clear to us:
1
We must all become part of the transformation.
2
We need to give everyone in our society a place in the sustainability movement.
3
Nature Day projects must encourage people to get involved, don’t start with accusations or stir up fear.

4
We must learn to understand and respect other people's way of life.
5
We must learn to speak other people's language- both literally and figuratively
6
Wir müssen voneinander und miteinander lernen und zusammen wachsen.
How do you find the eco bubble?
We asked 100 people:
Theoretical
Prohibitions
Only from the middle class
moralizing and didactic
Dystopian and frightening
Young, white, female
Academic and complicated
Climate action is a luxury
We only look at Germany
Perfectionist
shaming and blaming
only in German
Let's change this image and open the doors of the environmental movement wider than ever before - hand in hand with businesses and institutions.
